Sectron and SOT 161 attended the 5th specialized international exhibition “Safety & Security” 2007 which took place from 11th to 14th of September at the International Expo Center in Sofia. The main accent was put on the newest generation of digital video recording systems as well as communication and signaling equipment. Visitors were interested in the system integration between the Inner Range Concept 4000 access control panel and Dedicated Micros Digital Sprite 2 video recorder. The software integration between these two IP based security systems allows interaction and information sharing which enhances the overall performance of both systems. For example – video can be linked with various events from the access control system, which means logs from the system can have visual verification. Additionally, upon an event in the access control system like an unauthorized access attempt, certain action from the DVR could be triggered (like PTZ preset etc).

At the booth visitors were acquainted with the new high-speed IP network for video, data and voice transmission, which was built in cooperation with SOT 161 and Bynet. The network was used to transmit live video from an ACTi CAM-6610 IP speed dome camera, covering the downtown city center of Sofia.

Visitors on Sectron\‘s booth were met by 3 pcs of JVC 40” LCDs which displayed the capabilities of the various systems in the best possible way. Representatives from different security and police state institutions were especially interested in the specialized communication and signaling equipment as well as the innovative acoustic perimeter security fence.
